Roberta Green Ahmanson is a writer, speaker and philanthropist who started her professional life as a religion reporter at the San Bernadino Sun, and Orange County Register.

She is the co-author, along with Paul Marshall and Lela Gilbert, of “Islam at the Crossroads: Understanding Its Beliefs, History, and Conflicts.” She is a co-editor of “Blind Spot: When Journalists Don’t Get Religion.” Her interests are journalism, art, art history, city planning, religion, history, embroidery, and murder mysteries. She is also the chairperson of The Media Project Board of Directors.
