Welcome to The Media Project.

The Media Project exists to connect, encourage and equip Christians working in and around mainstream, secular, journalism across the globe. We work to help the news media understand and value religion, and we also work to help the Church understand and value journalism.

The Media Project takes the privacy of our users very seriously, and we have taken steps to protect private information. The Media Project collects only the data that our users choose to submit in their Personal Profile as part of the Registration process. The Media Project does not track Site usage patterns of registered members.

The Media Project will not make public nor distribute in any form the personal information of our registered members. The Media Project staff may make use of personal information of our members for internal, research purposes or for purposes of organizing Media-Project-sponsored activities only.

The Media Project is a social-networking and media-publication website. Its purpose is to connect Christians in journalism around the world and to be a platform to share our users’ work. Materials submitted to The Media Project for publication on our Site may be edited and circulated within The Media Project’s network at the discretion of The Media Project.

You post User Content (as defined in The Media Project Terms of Use) on the Site at your own risk. Although we allow you to set privacy options that limit access to your pages, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. We cannot control the actions of other Users with whom you may choose to share your pages and information. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that User Content you post on the Site will not be viewed by unauthorized persons. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Site. You understand and acknowledge that, even after removal, copies of User Content may remain viewable in cached and archived pages or if other Users have copied or stored your User Content.

Any improper collection or misuse of information provided on the Media Project is a violation of the Media Project Terms of Service and should be reported to Media Project staff.

By using The Media Project service, you are consenting to have your personal data transferred to and processed in the United States.
