Shola Oshunkeye

Shola Oshunkeye, 55, was winner of the prestigious CNN African Journalist of the Year Award, 2006, and the Nigerian Media Merits (NMMA) Print Journalist of the Year Award, 1996.

He has been Editor, Weekend Classique newspaper (1995); Editor, Weekend Concord, Nigeria’s first and highest circulating Saturday newspaper at a time (1999-2001); Senior Associate Editor, and State House Correspondent, Abuja, of TELL magazine, Nigeria’s most authoritative news weekly (2001-2005). 

He also served as General Editor, THE SUN Group of newspapers (2005-2008); Editor, The Spectator newspaper, a subsidiary of THE SUN (2008-2010). 

Oshunkeye is currently Editor, Magazines, THE SUN Group of Newspapers.
