Glader, an associate professor of journalism at The King’s College, also directs The McCandlish Phillips Journalism Institute (MPJI) and the NYC Semester in journalism (NYCJ). He teaches journalism, writing, and business-related courses at the liberal arts college in New York City. Glader has won a number of journalism awards, spent 10 years at The Wall Street Journal, and now contributes to several publications including Bloomberg Business Week, Forbes, The Washington Post and Christianity Today. He has a Bachelor’s degree in political science from The University of South Dakota, a Master’s degree from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism (where he was a Knight-Bagehot Fellow) and is completing an MBA from The Berlin School of Creative Leadership at Steinbeis University in Germany.
Glader lived in Germany from 2011-2013 as a Robert Bosch Fellow and as a European Journalism Fellow at the Free University of Berlin. He has extensive experience reporting and editing stories on the ground in many countries.
