NGWAINBI AFUH PERCY
Ngwainbi Afuh Percy is the Bamenda correspondent for the Time Scape Journal and also serves as a reporter for Radio Evangelium a Catholic Media group of the Archdiocese of Bamenda. He is a Catholic Christian who benefited immensely from the Christian upbringing by his parents (both still alive).
Perso, as his friends call him, had his primary education at C.S. Fuanantui in Njinikom sub-division, secondary and high school at K.C.H.C Anyajua and COTEC Bafut respectively, before gaining admission into the University of Buea in 2004. He graduated from there in 2007 with a B.Sc. in Journalism and Mass Communication.
He taught Computer Studies and Electrical Technology at NACHO Comprehensive High School Mankon Bamenda (2003-2004) and true to his training, worked at Ocean City Radio Douala as a stringer (2005-2007), Communication Officer at Light Africa, a Nkwen-based NGO (2007-2008) and at Foundation Radio Mankon Bamenda where he rose from reporter to Editor-in-Chief, Chief of Programs, and associate Station Manager (2008-2010) before moving into the position he occupies today.
Percy is creative, open-minded and responsible with a strong sense of organization. His personal interests include reading novels, creative research, football and gardening. With Nelson Mandela as his role-model, it will be a shot on target to say he is not only patient and consistent but also has a strong sense of fair play and hard work. Besides being a member of the successful Radio Evangelium team, Ngwainbi Afuh Percy is also the Head of the News Service.
