David Sseppuuya
David Sseppuuya is currently the editor for Uganda's The Daily Monitor and has worked in journalism and the development sector in the Africa region for many years. He worked as Editor-in-chief of The New Vision, Uganda's biggest newspaper and largest media group (2005-2006). He was also Deputy Editor-in-chief (1999-2005), Associate Editor (1996-1999), Features Editor (1993-1996), Sports Editor (1990-1993).
Previously he worked as a school teacher. He has been a member of the World Association of Newspapers (WAN), and The Africa Editors Forum (TAEF). He is a member of the East African Universities Environmental Journalism board, and board chairman of Word of Life international Christian School, Uganda.
