Nairobi-based Chris Khisa has worked in journalism and communications for more than twenty years.
His career includes serving as the Associate News Editor with Royal Media Service, a private media company that runs one national TV Station - Citizen TV, one national Radio station- Radio Citizen and 11 regional Radio stations all based in Kenya’s capital, Nairobi.
Khisa has also worked as a Senior News Editor with the government owned Kenya Broadcasting Corporation-KBC. He previously served as the personal assistant and Communications advisor to Kenya’s former Minister for Science and Technology before joining Royal Media Services in September 2007.
He holds a BA (Hons) in Communication and Sociology and a Diploma in Journalism. Khisa is a coordinating member for Kenya’s Gegrapha Chapter and a member of the Fellowship of Christian Journalists-Kenya.
He is also a lecturer in communications at Daystar University in Nairobi.
