Nigerian journalist learns from "Lizzy"

In the coming year, I want to do a story I have entitled “Rolling Tears”, which will focus on inner pain suffered by widows and their children who are thrown out of homes and deprived of their legitimate inheritance by their late husbands' relations for no just cause. I want my story to lend a voice to these victims to draw the attention of the world to this inhumane practice, and to end it.

I also want to do a story on the fears, pain and sorrows associated with Sickle Cell Anemia in Nigeria. The goal is with to create more awareness on their condition and give younger ones who intend to get married opportunities to make informed decision.
