Video Feature: "Slaves to Poverty"

Togo | Poverty & Development

Togolese journalist Jerry Johnson takes us into the daily struggle of Souley and his three sisters.  They are children - the youngest of whom is just 5 - who eke out a living begging for money in Decon, one of the busiest intersections in Togo's capital city Lome.

Johnson produced this mini-documentary titled "Slaves of Poverty" as part of The Media Project's Visual Storytelling Workshop for journalists of the developing world.
